Goals are to prepare early childhood professionals in obtaining their CDA Credential

Objectives:

• Given a review of the CDA process with reference to the CDA Competency Standards book, participants will pursue application of the CDA credential.
• Given guidance with reference to the CDA Professional Portfolio Required Items Checklist, participants will set up their portfolio binders with all required sections as defined in the CDA Competency Standards book.
• Participants will have a checklist from which to guide their completion of the required portfolio items.

Materials needed to complete the portfolio:

• CDA Competency Standards Book (find link in course materials)
• 1” binder
• 10 Tabulated Dividers Or stick on tabs
• Pen or fine point sharpie marker
• Three-Hole Punch
• Scissors
• Glue Stick
